Nick has been woodturning for about ten years, and it all started just after he retired from a career in Information Technology. An introductory two-day course at Axminster has led to him setting up of a workshop in his garden shed and acquiring many tools and pieces of wood.
In fact, Nick is a bit of a “wood-aholic” and finds it very difficult to turn down any offers of wood?
He loves turning bowls and small lidded boxes, but he will turn his skills to just about anything which he finds interesting and challenging.
All Nick’s pieces and unique and obviously hand made. He is a bit of a perfectionist and loves getting a superb finish on each of his pieces. Most are finished in wax and polished to a hard shine.
